Background: Cement solubility is a critical factor affecting its clinical performance and longevity. Water-to-powder (W/P) ratio plays a significant role in altering the solubility of dental cements. This study aimed to assess the effect of different W/P ratios on the solubility of Calcium-Enriched Mixture (CEM) cement. Method: CEM cement (BioniqueDent, Tehran, Iran) was mixed at W/P ratios of 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4 (1 g cement with 0.5, 0.34, and 0.25 mL water, respectively). Six samples per group were prepared in metal rings (30 mm diameter × 2 mm height) and weighed before and after immersion in water. Solubility was evaluated at one and four weeks. Data were analyzed using SPSS v24 with one-way ANOVA, independent and paired t-tests, and Tukey’s post hoc test (p<0.05). Results: Initial dry weights did not differ significantly among groups (p=0.264). At both one and four weeks, the 1:2 W/P group showed the highest solubility, while the 1:4 group exhibited the lowest (p=0.001). Conclusion: Higher water-to-powder ratios significantly increase the solubility of CEM cement. Proper adjustment of this ratio is important for optimal clinical performance.
