This study was designed to investigate the antinociceptive effect of thymoquinone (TQ) in streptozotocin-diabetic rats.   Materials and Methods: Rats were divided into control, high dose TQ-treated control, diabetic, sodium salicylate (SS)-treated control and diabetic, and high and low dose TQ-treated diabetic groups. TQ was administered i.p. at doses of 2.5 and 5 mg/kg one week after diabetes induction by streptozotocin for 5 weeks.    Results: TQ treatment of diabetic rats reduced pain score in acute and chronic phases of the formalin test (p < 0.05). Meanwhile, SS administration significantly reduced pain score only at chronic phase of the test (p < 0.01). Regarding hot tail immersion test, diabetic rats showed a significant reduction in tail flick latency as compared to control ones (p < 0.05) and TQ treatment of diabetic rats slightly increased this latency relative to untreated diabetics but the existing difference was not statistically significant. In addition, high-dose TQ significantly reduced serum level of MDA in diabetic group (p < 0.05).   Conclusion: Taken together, administration of TQ could attenuate nociceptive score in both phases of formalin test in experimental model of diabetes mellitus and has no obvious effect on thermal pain threshold and part of this effect is exerted through attenuation of lipid peroxidation in peripoheral tissues of the body. }, keywords = {Thymoquinone,Antinociceptive,Formalin test,Hot tail immersion test,Diabetes mellitus,Malondialdehyde}, title_fa = {ارزیابی اثر ضد‌دردی تجویز تیموکینون در موش صحرایی دیابتی و تعیین نقش پراکسیداسیون لیپیدی سرم}, abstract_fa = { مقدمه و هدف: هیپرآلژزی یکی از علائم دیابت قندی محسوب میشود که کیفیت زندگی افراد مبتلا را تحت تأثیر قرارمیدهد. تیموکینون مشتق از سیاهدانه دارای آثار ضددیابتی و ضدالتهابی است. در این بررسی اثر ضددردی آن در موشهای صحرایی دیابتیشده توسط استرپتوزوتوسین مورد ارزیابی قرارگرفت.    مواد و روش‌ها: موشها به گروههای کنترل, کنترل تحت تیمار با دوز بالای تیموکینون، دیابتی، کنترل و دیابتی دریافتکننده سدیم سالیسیلات، دیابتی و دیابتیهای تیمارشده با دوز پایین یا بالای تیموکینون تقسیم شدند. تیموکینون در دو دوز 5/2 و 5 میلیگرم بر کیلوگرم (داخل صفاقی) بعد از یک هفته از القای دیابت توسط استرپتوزوتوسین به مدت 5 هفته تجویز شد.   یافتهها: تیموکینون موجب کاهش معنیدار نمرات درد موشهای دیابتی در دو مرحله حاد و مزمن آزمون فرمالین شد (05/0p < ) و تزریق سدیم سالیسیلات نمره درد را در مرحله مزمن بهطور معنیدار کاهشداد (01/0p < ). بهعلاوه، تجویز تیموکینون به موشهای دیابتی یک کاهش معنیدار در مدت زمان تأخیر در بیرون کشیدن دم در مقایسه با گروه کنترل ایجادنکرد؛ همچنین، تیموکینون میزان مالون دیآلدئید را در سرم موشهای دیابتی بهطور معنیدار کاهشداد (05/0p < )   نتیجهگیری: تجویز تیموکینون موجب کاهش معنیدار شدت درد در دو مرحله حاد و مزمن آزمون فرمالین در مدل تجربی دیابت قندی میشود و بر آستانه درد حرارتی تأثیرندارد و بخشی از این اثر از طریق کاهش پراکسیداسیون لیپیدی در نواحی محیطی بدن بهانجاممیرسد. }, keywords_fa = {تیموکینون,دیابت قندی,اثر ضد‌دردی,آزمون فرمالین,آزمون غوطه‌ور‌کردن دم در آب داغ,مالون دی-آلدئید}, url = {https://daneshvarmed.shahed.ac.ir/article_1507.html}, eprint = {https://daneshvarmed.shahed.ac.ir/article_1507_3a8b931dc7e25d436f6435c3156aadb6.pdf} }
