These disorders have important influences on quality of life and increased mortality rate. This study was performed to evaluate the frequency of depression and its related factors among HD patients within two dialysis units.  Materials and Methods: The study population consisted of 120 patients on conventional maintenance hemodialysis who filled Beck questionnaires in order to depression screening. Data were collected by questionnaire, medical history and laboratory exams. The SPSS software (version 16) was used for data analysis and Chi square and Spearman’s tests were applied. Results: Frequency of depression among study population was 70%, so that 26.7% of them suffered from severe depression. There was no correlation between age, gender, underlying disease, HD duration, history of renal transplantation, anemia, marriage status, occupation, serum albumin level and depression (p>0.05). Frequency of HD sessions per week and dialysis adequacy (Kt/V) significantly correlated with depression severity (p=0.01 and p=0.04 respectively). Conclusion: With regard to high prevalence of depression among HD patients, depression screening seems necessary in this population. Early diagnosis and treatment of depression could improve patients’ quality of life.}, keywords = {Psychological disorders,Depression,Chronic renal failure,Hemodialysis}, title_fa = {بررسی فراوانی افسردگی در بیماران تحت همودیالیز نگه‌دارنده و عوامل مرتبط با آن}, abstract_fa = {  مقدمه و هدف: اختلالات روانی، به خصوص افسردگی، در بیماران مبتلا به نارسایی مزمن کلیوی و تحت همودیالیز بسیار شایع هستند. این اختلالات در کاهش کیفیت زندگی و افزایش میزان مرگ و میر بیماران تأثیر بسزایی دارند. هدف از انجام این مطالعه، بررسی فراوانی افسردگی و عوامل مرتبط با آن در بیماران تحت همودیالیز نگه دارنده در دو واحد همودیالیز شهر تهران است.     مواد و روش‌ها: برای غربالگری افسردگی در بیماران دیالیزی از پرسش نامه افسردگی بک ( BDI ) استفاده شد. پرسش نامه ها در بین120 بیمار دیالیزی مراجعه کننده به بیمارستان های مصطفی خمینی و فیاض بخش توزیع و پس از توضیحات لازم، بیماران آن را تکمیل کردند. سایر اطلاعات از طریق شرح حال و انجام آزمایش ها به دست آمدند. اطلاعات گردآوری شده، با نرم افزار v.16 SPSS تجزیه و تحلیل آماری شده و آزمون های آماری کای‌دو و اسپیرمن استفاده شدند.     نتایج: شیوع افسردگی در جمعیت مورد مطالعه هفتاد درصد محاسبه شد، به طوری که 7/26 درصد از آنان مبتلا به افسردگی شدید بودند. هیچ یک از متغیرهای سن، جنس، بیماری زمینه‌ای، طول مدت دیالیز، سابقه پیوند کلیه، کم خونی، وضعیت تأهل، وضعیت شغلی و آلبومین سرم با افسردگی ارتباط آماری معناداری نداشتند ( 05/0 p >). تعداد دفعات همودیالیز در هفته و کفایت همودیالیز ( Kt/V ) با شدت افسردگی ارتباط آماری معنادار داشتند (01/0 p = و 04/0 p = ).     نتیجه گیری: با توجه به شیوع بالای افسردگی در بیماران همودیالیزی، غربالگری بیماری افسردگی در این بیماران ضروری به نظرمی رسد. تشخیص و درمان افسردگی در مراحل اولیه می تواند در بهبود کیفیت زندگی این بیماران نقش مهمی داشته باشد.}, keywords_fa = {اختلالات روانی,افسردگی,نارسایی مزمن کلیوی,همودیالیز}, url = {https://daneshvarmed.shahed.ac.ir/article_1423.html}, eprint = {https://daneshvarmed.shahed.ac.ir/article_1423_981daae03c884fdcee699ec92e512847.pdf} }
