The sampling was done randomly based on purpose of the study and the required information was gathered through some inquiries including demographic data from subjects and their parents and some characteristics of their first menstruation. The evaluation of weight, height and BMI also was done. The subjects were grouped in to three socioeconomic status and were evaluated.   Results: Findings indicates that age at menarche was 13.1±1.81 (years), the average height at that time was 153±5.66 (cm), the average weight was 44.62±8.06 (kg) and the BMI was 18.87±3.17 (kg/m2). In this study there was no meaningful relation between weight and BMI with the age at menarche but the relation between height and menarche was meaningful. This study also showed there was not significant difference between three socio-economic status and age at menarche, weight, height, BMI and some menstrual characteristics.  Conclusion: The menstrual age could be a good indicator of socio-economic development but as the social status differences decrease, the differences observed in monarchal age and body composition disappears. According to the results the physical characteristics are not good indicator for prediction of menarche.}, keywords = {Menarche,Weight,Height,BMI,Socio-economic status,Secondry schools,Abadan}, title_fa = {سن اولین قاعدگی و ارتباط آن با وزن، قد، شاخص توده بدنی و وضعیت اقتصادی - اجتماعی در دختران مدارس راهنمایی}, abstract_fa = {  هدف: این مطالعه به منظور بررسی سن اولین قاعدگی و همچنین ارتباط آن با خصوصیات فیزیکی بدن و وضعیت اقتصادی- اجتماعی صورت گرفته‌‌است.   مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه، توصیفی- تحلیلی و از نوع مقطعی است که در زمستان سال 1382 بر روی 236 دانش‌آموز دختر مدارس راهنمایی شهر آبادان که در طی 2 ماه قبل از اجرای پژوهش برای اولین بار قاعده شده بودند، انجام گرفت. روش نمونه‌گیری به‌ ‌صورت تصادفی و جمع‌آوری اطلاعات از طریق تکمیل پرسشنامه، شامل خصوصیات دموگرافیک فرد و خانواده و خصوصیات اولین قاعدگی بود. همچنین با اندازه‌گیری قد و وزن و محاسبه شاخص توده بدنی انجام شده‌‌است. دختران بر اساس سطح تحصیلات و شغل والدین به 3 گروه اقتصادی – اجتماعی طبقه‌بندی شدند و سن اولین قاعدگی و ارتباط آن با خصوصیات فیزیکی و وضعیت اقتصادی – اجتماعی آنان بررسی شد.   نتایج: یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که سن شروع قاعدگی 81/1 ± 1/13 سال، اندازه قد همزمان با شروع قاعدگی 66/5 ± 153 سانتی‌متر، مقدار وزن 06/8 ± 62/44 کیلوگرم و شاخص توده بدنی نیز 17/3 ± 87/18 بوده‌‌است. در این مطالعه، ارتباط معناداری بین سن اولین قاعدگی با وزن و شاخص توده بدنی به‌ دست نیامد؛ لکن بین سن اولین قاعدگی و قد این ارتباط معنادار بود و همچنین ارتباط معناداری بین اقتصادی- اجتماعی با سن اولین قاعدگی، وزن، قد، شاخص توده بدنی و برخی خصوصیات قاعدگی به‌ دست نیامد.   نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به تأثیر وضعیت اقتصادی – اجتماعی در سن وقوع اولین قاعدگی می‌توان نتیجه گرفت که هر چه تفاوت‌های اقتصادی – اجتماعی افراد کم‌تر باشد، تفاوت در سن وقوع قاعدگی کاهش می‌یابد و همچنین این‌که خصوصیات فیزیکی شاخص‌های مناسبی برای پیش‌بینی زمان وقوع اولین قاعدگی نیستند.}, keywords_fa = {سن اولین قاعدگی,وزن,قد,شاخص توده بدنی,وضعیت اقتصادی- اجتماعی,مدارس راهنمایی,آبادان}, url = {https://daneshvarmed.shahed.ac.ir/article_1363.html}, eprint = {https://daneshvarmed.shahed.ac.ir/article_1363_e5435c15c7d0365213d7e57789248bbd.pdf} }
